Feb 01 2011 The rtb-group GmbH has acquired the know-how and all rights to names and patents of Robowatch Technologies. Since January 17, 2011, the Robowatch Industries GmbH is a sister company in the rtb-group. "Robotics is a financially strong business with solid core operations and high growth potential. In its ten year history Robowatch has set standards in the development of service robotics. With the acquisition of the company we want to improve the worldwide market penetration and position products and applications for security, civil protection mechanism and industry successfully.", the managing director of the rtb-group, Ulf Stremmel, says.

The rtb-group GmbH is consistent with this step, continuing its strategy of focusing on the three sectors Robotic Solutions, Security Systems and Business Development.

Founded in 2000, the enterprise Robowatch Technologies develops and distributes mobile security robots and robots for the security market and the industry.

Under the leadership of the rtb-group GmbH the new Robowatch Industries GmbH is about to expand its position as market leader in the field of Software Solutions as the service portfolio is focused on the development of software for robotics and industrial apllications. Growth target will be achieved through a variety of product innovations in areas such as autonomy, telepresence and image processing as well as the expansion of international business. Main site of the enterprise is still Berlin.
